Posting on Instagram, she explained that she was impressed with the new “Wheely Baskets” at her local Coles.

Footage shared by Nagi shows her pushing the shopping cart through the store loaded with various groceries.

“I’m not kidding. I was really so impressed with the rolling baskets that I took this video and sent it to a friend to compliment @colessupermarkets on this innovation,” she wrote.

However, it took the chef a while to realize that she was actually pushing around the store’s shelf – which is on wheels – that held the last basket in the stack.

Showing off footage of a stack of baskets on the wheeled base, she added: “I was so impressed with Coles’ new baskets on wheels. Turns out it wasn’t!”

Many buyers — and Coles employees — said Nagi wasn’t the first person to make that mistake.

“I used to work at Coles and it used to happen all the time,” one wrote.

Another said: “This happens all the time! You’re not alone!”

A third added: “I’m glad it’s not just us. My two year old thought it was a trolley just for her! She proudly rolled it around the store.”

Another said, “I’m pretty sure I did that once.”

A Coles rep even responded to the post, noting that it was an “easy mistake to make.”

Some agreed it could be an innovative idea that Coles might consider in the future.

“It might give them ideas,” said one.
