Cole’s Supermarket Oven Cleaning Hack: The shopper transforms the appliance in minutes with $1.30 steel wool soap pads

A Coles supermarket customer shared her simple trick to cleaning oven doors in minutes – with a $1.30 purchase.

Taking to a popular Facebook page, the homeowner shared how she overhauled her appliance with Cole’s Steel Wool Soap Pads.

The buyer posted before and after pictures of her remodeled oven, which she said was done in no time.

“It’s not perfect, but it took me less than two minutes total,” she told Cleaning & Organizing Inspiration Australia.

“I didn’t have to take the glass out at all.

“Cole’s Soap Pads – $1.30 for 10. I used one and didn’t even destroy it.”

The homeowner added that the cleaning purchase didn’t damage or scratch her glass oven door.

“No, because the chafing part is more in the middle, which is why they have the term pads,” she said.

“I’ve never had a scratch on any surface and have been using these for years.”

Sharing her technique, the Coles shopper wrote: “I soaked mine in hot tap water for 10 seconds then gently rubbed it on the oven door.

“And then I used paper towels to wipe down the oven. I repeated the process once.”

Many Facebook users agreed that the cheap cleaning purchase was ideal for many jobs around the house.

“Yes, the fastest, cheapest and easiest way to clean,” said one.

Another added: “You are the best thing ever for cleaning the oven. No harsh smelly chemicals. So fast and efficient. I swear by them too!”
