The shopper said she found the super bargain Christmas shopping at Spencer Street Coles in Melbourne.
“Hope your freezer is ready,” the eagle-eyed shopper wrote on Markdown Addicts Australia’s Facebook page.
Numerous Facebook users were dying to get their hands on the discounted turkeys.
“Let’s stock you up for Christmas!” said one.
Another added: “I would buy anything and I wouldn’t even be sorry.”
Another said: “BRB, book flights to Melbourne with extra baggage allowance.”
It’s unclear if the special will be limited to just that store or available across Australia. 7NEWS.com.au has reached out to Coles for comment.
One social media user had his own theory about the discount, saying, “Looks like someone got carried away with the stock they sent in early for Christmas and sold it straight away.”
Despite this, it was dubbed the “bargain of the year” by many supermarket shoppers.
“So jealous!” said one.
Another wrote: “Oh wow. I’m in shock.”
A third wrote: “I’m so fucking jealous right now.”
