Clayton Kershaw being interviewed by a 10 year old boy will melt your heart

Clayton Kershaw being interviewed by a 10 year old boy will melt your heart.

Before you watch this video, grab those tissues, we warn you.

On the Tuesday before MLB All Star GameDodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw was about to leave his media appearance when someone said a small child had something to say.

“This moment is special,” says the boy as he walks to the table. It’s difficult to understand exactly what the kid, Blake Grice, is saying, but the gist is that his grandfather wanted to meet Kershaw but died of brain cancer before he got the chance. Instead he came towards Kershaw.

The kid starts crying halfway through the video and Kershaw jumps up to comfort him.

Such a moving and emotional moment before a special day in sport.
