City of Annapolis closes Naval Academy Bridge as Blue Angels rehearse flyover – CBS Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — With the Naval Academy hosting its graduation in Annapolis on Friday, the Blue Angels are in town rehearsing their transfer.
The city of Annapolis closed the Route 450 bridge until late Tuesday afternoon while the squadron practices its maneuvers ahead of Friday’s ceremony.

The Blue Angels, the Navy’s elite flight demonstration squadron, regularly perform aerobatic displays for crowds at air shows and special events nationwide.

In light of the rehearsal, the city is asking viewers to have a plan for parking and reminding boaters to be mindful of where they anchor.

In addition to the Blue Angels flyover, President Joe Biden is expected to address the Naval Academy class of 2022 on Friday when they graduate.
On Tuesday, May 24, the Route 450 bridge (Naval Academy) will be closed between 10:45 a.m. and approximately 3:45 p.m. for the Blue Angels launch rehearsal. Please follow the instructions and detours provided by the Annapolis Police Department. #USNA2022
