Citrine’s Last Wish is now live for Warframe on all platforms

wish and hope

What exactly is Citrine’s last wish? Was it finally riding Space Mountain alone? Was it a notarized letter saying crystal stuff is pretty cool? Was it a kiss from the Warframe she has a crush on? We don’t know, you have to play the latest one war frame Update to find out for sure! Or maybe you still won’t find out, but you can unlock Citrine and her new crystal-based abilities to play with, and that’s pretty cool, even if her last wish remains a bit ambiguous.

The update also includes new Citrine-themed weapons (she may have a small extra spotlight as a reward), as well as a new mission node to explore and new customization options for players. All of these things are fun and should be worthwhile, even if Citrine’s new abilities don’t excite you. But she should Enjoy. It might not have been their last wish that they please you, but it probably was A wish, yes?

The Crystal Bastion Citrine makes its shimmering debut today in Citrine’s Last Wish as the 52nd Warframe to join Digital Extremes’ ever-growing roster of playable space warriors. In Citrine’s Last Wish, players will discover an ancient love story steeped in tragedy told through new Mirror Defense missions – classic defense missions with a twist – as they battle an onslaught of powerful enemies to reunite two crystal-encased lovers short on time and space have been lost. Today, players can instantly unlock Citrine with platinum along with her exclusive weapons, customizations, and accessories, or earn her powerful defenses by collecting rewards from Mirror Defense missions to farm Citrine’s blueprints.
