Ciara’s son Future leaves fans in tears after asking mom to explain “Thang” from her latest song “Jump.”

Future Zahir Wilburn, the son of rapper Future and multi-talented entertainer CiaraHe had social media followers freaking out after quizzing his musical mom about the term “Thang,” which was scattered throughout the mum-of-three’s latest single, “Jump.”

Over the last week, the 36-year-old has been promoting the release of the new song, which features LA hip-hop newcomers Coast Contra and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Baby Future was among those drawing attention to the mid-tempo dance song, when he politely asked the songwriter in a new Instagram post, “What does the ‘Thang’ in ‘Jump’ mean?” He specifically points to the lyrics: ” You go wow when I do that thing, thing, thing.” The “Goodies” singer burst out laughing as she struggled to explain, telling the 8-year-old, “Well, the ‘Thang’ can be like that cars jump, people jump…”

Unfortunately, Ciara’s firstborn didn’t buy what the singer dished up. Sienna and Win’s older brother replied: “Really mum. Really.” The “Body Party” singer finally gave up and ended the video by telling her adorable son, “I love you.”

Fans in the comments section were let down by the adorable moment, including one Instagram user who wrote: “Even the baby future knows his mom isn’t telling the truth. We know your future baby.”

“He knows what it means!” declared another person, before adding, “He just wanted you to confirm it.”

“Well Ci, you could have come up with a better lie!! A CAR JUMPS?!” wrote a third person. “His face when he says ‘really mom?’ said. stop playing with me mom I’m grown up and smart,” commented a fourth. He is so cute.”

Last month, the “Like a Boy” singer opened up about her child’s mixed reactions to her bolder photos during an interview for the 2022 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. “When I do the things that are a little bit spicier, they’re kind of like ‘eurgh’ — they do these kinds of fun things,” Ciara told the publication, grimacing at the same time.

She added: “But Sienna thought Mommy was beautiful. The future is the one that when I say, “Pop, pop,” he says, “Stop. Stop.’ He’s so funny, like, ‘Uh, Mom…'”
