Chris Olave beats David Boston for Ohio State career TD reception record

Wide receiver Chris Olave break Ohio State Career received a touchdown record on Saturday when he caught a 43-yard pass from CJ Stroud against the state of Michigan.

With the score, Olave has 35 touchdowns in his career, one better than David Boston’s previous record.

Olave was honored with the other seniors on the team before the game and caught two touchdowns in the first half to set the record. His 13 touchdowns in 2021 lead the way among all players and hit last season’s high of 12 in 2019.

He is ranked as the number 5 wide record player on Mel Kiper’s Big Board outlook for the upcoming NFL draft.
