Chris Martin reveals how Bruce Springsteen influenced his diet

In a recent interview Chris Martin revealed he no longer eats dinner and is on a strict one-meal-a-day diet because 73-year-old star Bruce Springsteen is in better shape than him.
Martin also shared that he has only cooked twice in the past decade, both of which ended disastrously when North London Fire Brigade came to his rescue.
The singer, who was married to actress Gwyneth Paltrow, has maintained a cordial relationship with her since their divorce in 2016. The duo are co-parents to their children Apple and Moses.

Chris Martin reveals why he’s not eating dinner anymore

During a recent appearance on the Conan O’Brien’s Needs A Friend podcast, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin revealed that he only eats one meal a day.
He revealed he made the decision after becoming jealous of Bruce Springsteen’s incredible physique at a lunch they had last June after performing together at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Martin revealed the 73-year-old singer was in better shape than him and had asked for tips, after which Springsteen shared that he stops consuming anything at 4pm. Since then, Martin has stopped eating dinner altogether and only eats his one meal earlier in the day. “I don’t eat dinner anymore,” he said per Daily Mail.
Chris Martin’s disastrous cooking escapades

In 2021, the “Head Full of Dreams” singer admitted he’d only attempted to cook twice in the past decade. To make matters worse, he had started a fire in the kitchen both times.
During an interview with BBC Radio 2, he humbly admitted: “I’m not a great cook. I’ve cooked twice in the last ten years and both times the fire brigade came.” The musician gave a salute to the North London Fire Brigade for coming to his rescue twice, saying: “I want them – the fire brigade from North London – send a greeting that saved me twice. The second time they came and said, “Have you cooked again?”
When asked what he burned, he admitted: “Um, pasta and toast. I said I would cook dinner but then I got distracted and got to work on a song and forgot until…” he trailed off.
Chris Martin and ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow remain friends
Earlier this month, Martin celebrated his 46th and received a sweet tribute from his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, who called him the “cutest father and friend” in a social media post. The GOOP founder shared a selfie with Chris on Instagram, looking natural with minimal makeup and glasses as she leaned into him in a parking lot.
Paltrow wished Martin a happy birthday in her caption and expressed her love for him. “Happy Birthday to the sweetest dad and friend. We love you Cajm,” she wrote.
Despite “deliberately splitting” in March 2014 and finally divorcing in 2016, the couple have remained close friends and co-parents to their two children, 18-year-old Apple and 16-year-old Moses.
However, they have since vacationed alongside their respective partners, Gwyneth’s husband Brad Falchuk, and Chris’ girlfriend Dakota Johnson, daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson.
Gwyneth Paltrow is receiving backlash for her wellness routine

Martin’s former partner’s unusual eating habit has recently caused controversy on the internet. During an interview on The Art of Being Well podcast with Dr. Will Cole shared with Paltrow her daily wellness habits, which include fasting, bone broth, veggies, IV fluids, and an hour’s exercise.
According to her, she eats dinner early and practices intermittent fasting. For breakfast, she opts for foods that don’t spike her blood sugar, like coffee, followed by bone broth for lunch.
She added that to work out, she does “an hour’s exercise,” whether it’s walking, Pilates, or working out with Tracy Anderson. In addition, she brushes herself dry and spends 30 minutes in an infrared sauna. For dinner, she follows a paleo diet and eats lots of vegetables to help her body detoxify.
However, a clip of their interview shared on TikTok received backlash from viewers. Many criticized her routine, and some people questioned whether starving could be considered wellness. Others said they felt lightheaded just hearing their routine.
