Chris Godwin’s Knee Injury Is Actually a Torn ACL

It was reported earlier on Monday that Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin have sprained MCL and will miss the rest of the regular season, but a return to the knockout stages isn’t ruled out. But the actual injury was much worse, with Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians revealing a torn ACL, per The Athletic’s Greg Auman.
Godwin got injured in Tampa Bay’s ugly 9-0 loss first New Orleans Saints on Sunday Night Football. Mike Evans and Leonard Fournette were both injured in the game, but their injuries were not nearly as serious.
More on this to come.
