‘Choking Hazard’: Major Recall for Popular Wooden Baby Toys Issued by ACCC

A popular children’s toy has been recalled by Australia’s Consumer Protection Agency over concerns it could cause serious injury if used.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has issued a recall warning for Tender Leaf Toys Bunny Tales and Sailaway Boat sold nationwide both in-store and online from 1st November 2021 to 26th October 2022.
The ACCC said the ears could detach from the bunny, forming a small part that could pose a choking or suffocation hazard to young children.

The watchdog has urged anyone who has bought wooden toys to stop using them immediately and dispose of them.
Customers can contact Kaleidoscope Australasia Pty Ltd to arrange for a different set of three characters to be sent as a replacement.
