Chase Australia ‘Beast’ Mark Labbett Weight Loss: Star Shows Off Body Transformation At Dirty Dancing Event

Chase Australia ‘Beast’ Mark Labbett has continued to amaze fans with his weight loss journey after losing more than 60kg.

The 57-year-old attended a Dirty Dancing press night in London’s West End on Wednesday and showed off his trimmed figure.

Posing alongside dancer Kira Malou at the event, he wore a black coat and black pants paired with a loose white shirt.

Last year Labbett said he was the “smallest” since the 1990s and revealed he was thrilled to be able to buy a pair of “regular” jeans.

In January 2022, the Brit celebrated the change from size 5XL to 2XL by posing for a shirtless bathroom selfie.

Speaking to Loose Women, Labbett said he was his heaviest in 2003 at 184kg.

He credited his pet golden retriever, Baloo, with helping him get into a regular exercise routine.

“My wife promised me that when we got him she would take care of everything – feeding him, walking him and so on,” explained The Chase favorite.

“It took about two weeks for her to decide, ‘Actually, Mark, look at your stomach — you need the exercise!'”

Labbett said he’s also significantly reduced chips and other carbs and is focusing on eating lean meats.

He also admitted running after his young son during the COVID lockdowns has kept him active – and away from the fridge.

“The main has been walking around after a hyperactive three-year-old was locked up when kindergarten was closed,” he said.

“I found that at the end of the night, instead of going to the fridge for a late-night snack, I could just flop onto the bed.”

Labbett’s latest Dirty Dancing pics show he’s managing to maintain the weight post-lockdown.

He tweeted, “I had a blast at Dirty Dancing at the Dominion tonight.”

“Feel both happily energized and completely over it,” he added.

“Nobody corners Beast,” joked one fan.
