Chargers coach Brandon Staley talks about his respect for Mike Tomlin

Los Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley is ready to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday and he certainly has a lot of respect for the one and only Mike Tomlin.

There’s an exciting AFC confrontation going on this weekend, with Los Angeles charger and Pittsburgh Steelers all set to face. While there are plenty of stars on each side, both head coaches are quite respected.

On one side you have a veteran Mike Tomlin, while Brandon Staley is really making his mark as a young leader in the game. If you ask Staley about Tomlin, you can expect him to give a bright assessment of the Pittsburgh coach. During a press conference, Staley really didn’t have enough good things to say about his opponents for Week 11.

Brandon Staley has great respect for Mike Tomlin

As you can see from the tweet above, Staley really couldn’t have more respect for Tomlin and all he has been able to achieve while at Heinz Field. Tomlin, whose Super Bowl championship bears his name, just became the second-most winning coach in Pittsburgh history.

Despite a season of ups and downs for the Men of Steel, they are still 5-3 of the year and certainly in the hunt for the possibility of winning the AFC North. They are right behind the Baltimore Ravens, a team that suffered a disappointing loss to the Miami Dolphins last week.

Meanwhile with the Chargers, they are a 5-4 team for the season and are just behind the 6-4 captain in the AFC West. Staley has done a remarkable job since taking over everything in LA. He could resonate even more with a win over Pittsburgh. Win or lose, Staley will always have a great love for Tomlin.
