On Tuesday, Erskine told Sunrise she was “shocked” and “disgusted” by what happened during her recovery.
“I was under a lot of stress. I was told to basically switch off from everything and focus on recovery, and it was extremely difficult to do that when all of this was happening,” Erskine told Sunrise.
“I’m pretty shocked by what happened. I’m pretty disgusted.
“It just makes me sick because, as we all know, people lose their lives every day. It’s just one of those things that really gives you a stomach ache.”
