CFD firefighter among 3 injured in South Side fire

CHICAGO — A Chicago firefighter was among the three injured in a fire in the West Englewood neighborhood Friday afternoon, according to fire officials.
Firefighters responded to a house fire at the 6200 block of South Paulina Street shortly after 4 p.m. where a Chicago firefighter fallen from a roof. The firefighter sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and is being treated at the University of Chicago Hospital.
Two people in the house were rescued and taken away in serious but stable condition to the University of Chicago Hospital.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
