Celebrity chef Matt Preston stuns fans with his transformation ahead of ‘Dancing With the Stars’
Celebrity chef Matt Preston has undergone a weight-loss transformation and showed off his slimmer figure when he was photographed in Melbourne on Wednesday.
The 61-year-old former MasterChef judge and MKR star was photographed running errands looking casual in a navy t-shirt, dark shorts and gray trainers.

Preston also sported longer, loose hair and a prominent silver beard ā and there was no sign of a tie, his trademark accessory.
Shortly after leaving MasterChef in 2019, the reality TV favorite revealed he was embarking on a weight loss journey after hitting the scales at 140kg.
He said The Daily Telegraph back then that he had “lost a little weight and built up a little muscle”.
“I ate less, mostly plants, but didn’t limit myself to anything,” he said.
“It’s about having time, the moment when there are no more excuses.
“As we know, it’s all about living a healthy lifestyle, but the hardest thing is actually having the time where you can take an hour to go to the gym.”
Preston said he’s started exercising four times a week.
And the results are paying off, if recent paparazzi snaps are to be believed: Preston looks a lot slimmer than he did in his MasterChef days.
Preston’s weight loss could also have something to do with the workout he’s been doing ahead of his appearance on this year’s hit Channel 7 show Dancing With the Stars.
The celebrity chef shared a picture with his dance partner Jessica Raffa on Instagram on Thursday.
Preston wears a cap that says “Lucky” and Raffa wears a “Luck” hat.
“Jessica Raffa and I will need a lot of that to survive @dancingau‘ the photo was captioned.
“Sure she’s brilliant but I dance like a dump truckš.”
In a separate video, Preston gave a glimpse of how rehearsals went, with Raffa wearing a glittery tie.
“I’m not a dancer but love learning from @jessraffa.dancefit,” he wrote.
“I think their tie game is also very strong.”
Preston fans were excited to see what the food expert could bring to the dance floor.
“If character and spirit competed, you would win the trophy every time,” wrote one fan.
“Dump truck idiot @mattsravatYou are a natural and with @jessraffa.dancefit Leading the way will make you more Ferrari than a dump truck! Get Team “Em A,” wrote another.
“I can’t wait to see you in action!” added a third.
“You’ve got it all!” another said.
