Celebrity Baby News: US actress Kaley Cuoco welcomes ‘little miracle’ with husband Tommy Pelphrey

US actress Kaley Cuoco has welcomed her first child with husband Tommy Pelphrey.

Cuoco and Pelphrey welcomed their daughter Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey on March 30.

The actress, known for her work on TV shows like Flight Attendant and The Big Bang Theory, announced the news on her social media, calling Matilda “the new light of our lives.”

“We are over the moon and grateful for this little miracle,” she said.

“Thank you to the doctors, nurses, family and friends who have helped us immensely over the past few days.

“We are incredibly blessed.”

To her husband, Cuoco said she “didn’t think I could fall in love with you more, but I did.”

Pelphrey, also an actor, is known for his work on the television series Iron Fist and Ozark.

“My heart is filled with love and gratitude for this miracle,” he wrote on his social media.

“I am eternally grateful for the strength and courage of my soulmate and best friend,” he said of his wife.

“You’re unbelievable.”

There was a surprise Australian twist in the couple’s announcement as Pelphrey donned a Waltzing Matilda shirt while holding his daughter in hospital.

One Australian fan commented to congratulate the couple on their “little miracle” and to express their love for the name

“Being from Australia it’s pretty cool to see you chose that name and then seeing the Waltzing Matilda t-shirt was pretty cool,” they said.

“You have to sing her the song or hum her the tune so she can learn it.

“It’s our unofficial national anthem, but now it’s their song too.

“Thanks for sharing her with the world, she is absolutely perfect.”

The couple also received congratulations from their famous friends.

“WONDERFUL FAMILY,” said actress Amanda Seyfried. “All the best!”

“So so so exciting,” wrote Pelphrey’s co-star Krysten Ritter.

“What a happy little baby. love the name So happy for you guys.”

“My heart bursts for you,” wrote Sweet Magnolias star JoAnna Garcia Swisher.

“Matilda, welcome to the world, you precious little nugget!”
