Chris Lammons, a 26-year-old quarterback for the Kansas City Captains, turned himself in to the authorities on Thursday, according to a TMZ report.
Kansas City police chiefs received some less striking news when it was revealed that linebacker Chris Lammons had reported himself filing with law enforcement officers.
In the reportTMZ notes that Kamara and Lammons are not the only men allegedly involved in the “[beating] up a man outside a club in Las Vegas on February 6.” According to TMZ, two other men are believed to be involved and have been charged in connection with the incident.

Following Kamara’s arrest, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department shared a notice on Twitter that an investigation found that Kamara had been identified as the suspect who beat the victim.
As TMZ reports, Lammons has been charged with charging a battery that resulted in serious bodily harm. As TMZ notes, if convicted, it’s a felony that “carries up to five years in prison.” TMZ reported that Lammons applied for bail shortly after submitting his own application.
It remains to be seen how this situation will play out for Lammons, Kamara, and two other men who are facing charges.
