Catherine Princess of Wales makes big move after Prince Harry drama

Catherine, Princess of Wales has decided it’s time for a change following recent controversies surrounding the royal family.
Kate has appointed a new personal secretary, PR guru Alice Corfield, who has worked for celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and Richard Branson’s Virgin Company, among others.

The new appointment follows drama surrounding recent Netflix documentary Harry and Meghan and Prince Harry’s memoir Spare.
Corfield, 51, will replace Kate’s former secretary, Hannah Cockburn-Logie, who left the job in 2022.
She was hired to “shake things up” at Kensington Palace, an insider told the Sunday Times.
The source, who worked with her on a Jamie Oliver campaign, described Corfield as a “straight talker” and “ball breaker.”
“She makes things happen and will really push things forward at the palace,” the insider said.
As Kate’s oldest assistant, Corfield will be hugely influential and essentially become her right-hand man.
“It’s a bit off for Kensington Palace but there is a move to hire more modernizers and people with private sector experience, not just civil servants,” the source explained.
“She’ll circle the courtiers and shake things up a bit.”
Kensington Palace has not commented publicly on the appointment.
And while Kate will no doubt have a prominent position at King Charles’ coronation on May 6, it’s safe to assume Prince Harry’s wife Meghan won’t.
According to the Daily Mail UK, Harry will be “flown” to the UK shortly for the big event while Meghan will stay in the US – May 6 happens to be son Archie’s fourth birthday.
It’s called “Harry in a hurry” and claims the prince will only be in the UK for around 48 hours.
But the crowning glory will get its American star power through another method — inviting Hollywood actor Tom Cruise to attend.
Sources told The Sun that the actor would temporarily stop filming his latest Mission Impossible movie in order to attend the coronation.
“Tom was invited to King Charles’ coronation and he would never have turned it down,” a source said.
“It’s an extremely prestigious event and Tom is a true royalist – plus he’s now close with Prince William and Kate.
“Tom has told film executives to halt production of Mission: Impossible over Coronation weekend to ensure he can attend.
“It shocked some people in the film as Tom is so true to his craft and would normally never stray from his intense production schedules.
“But something as important – and grand – as the coronation of King Charles is something he doesn’t want to miss.”
Cruise invited William and Kate to a screening of his hit film Top Gun: Maverick last year, and the trio also appeared together at the event’s London premiere.
