The royal family has remained silent amid Prince Harry’s various allegations and claims.
But a comment by Kate about different types of mental health support was taken by some to be an indirect reference to Harry.
“Talk therapies don’t work for some people, they’re not for everyone,” Kate said.
“It’s so important to have a range of therapies.”
proponents of therapy
In Spare and in the Netflix documentary Harry and Meghan, Prince Harry spoke about the benefits of therapy and how it had helped him.
Describing an argument in which he claimed his brother William physically pushed him, Harry said: “I can pretty much guarantee today that if I hadn’t had therapy sessions like I did and been able to do, I would have done it.” Resolved to process anger and frustration, 100 percent.”
And the Netflix documentary showed footage of Harry and Meghan getting emotional while listening to affirmation-based guided meditations that can be used in therapy.
Kate’s comment seemed to resonate with some of those who came out to see her and William in Liverpool.
“Oh, that was a reference to Harry, of course!” Royal fan Sylvia, 81, told The Sun after the couple’s visit.
‘Were you hurt?’
When the royals arrived at the hospital, a fan was heard yelling at William: “Have you been hurt by the comments in Harry’s book, sir?”
William didn’t respond, although it’s unclear if he heard the comment.
Meanwhile, King Charles traveled to Aberdeenshire in Scotland to meet with local support groups including Men’s Shed.
An Australian who came out to see Charles said she wanted to show her support for the king following the recent controversy surrounding Harry.
“When I heard the King was here, I had to come out and show my support for what he’s going through,” Brisbane resident Sandra Charles, 64, told The Sun.
“It’s a tough time for Charles and the whole family.
“It (the book Spare) is terrible.
“Not commenting is the right approach.
“And I’m 100 percent with Charles.”
Karl’s coronation
Sources now say that Prince Harry and Meghan will not be welcome at King Charles’ coronation in May.
Older family members fear anything they say “might end up in a paperback,” reports The Sun.
“There have been family discussions, including Edward and Anne,” a source told the publication.
“They don’t want private conversations at the coronation making it into the paperback edition of Spare.”
Prince William is said to be ‘devastated’ by the revelations in Spare.
Meanwhile, Kate is said to be “hurt” and “outraged”.
“Kate thinks Harry’s behavior is cruel,” a source told US Weekly.
Another insider said both Kate and William were “very upset” and that the allegations had “hit them very hard”.
