The Prince and Princess of Wales are preparing to “fight back” to the upcoming Netflix tell-all in regards to the expected bombshells in Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
After Princess Catherine was dragged into the controversial trailer, her husband Prince William is reportedly abandoning his usual approach of keeping quiet about issues.

While the content of the docu-series was initially unclear – many believed it could be about Harry and Meghan’s philanthropic work – the inclusion of Kate’s picture in the trailer was “a declaration of war,” palace insiders told The Express.
“The Prince and Princess team will be waiting to see what’s in the Netflix series before deciding what to do, but you can see the direction of travel,” said the insider, who is close to the couple.
The Prince of Wales has generally stuck to the royal family’s historic approach of “never complaining, never explaining”.
However, along with the content of the trailer, the strategic release date hours after the Wales landed in the US was deemed “sabotage” and William reportedly has no problem telling Harry to “back off” if it was misleading or false accusations exist, the source said.
The publication also claimed that King Charles, Prince William and associates are holding a crisis meeting to get revenge on any claims they believe to be false in the six-part series.
“If there is a need to respond to anything in the upcoming series, rest assured that the response will be swift and robust,” the source said.
“Regarding the numerous attempts to make private peace with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, there is a completely united front from the King and his family.
“Which unfortunately has once again led to the other side wanting to share their repeated grievances with the world.”
This quick approach will be unlike the family’s reaction to the Sussexes’ first media reconnaissance with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.
It took them two days to post a response saying the family was “sad” to learn the extent of the challenges the Sussexes were facing.
“Nobody sees what goes on behind closed doors,” says Prince Harry in the promo for the upcoming Netflix documentary, which shows never-before-seen personal moments between the royal couple.
“When the stakes are so high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?” Meghan says later in the trailer.
During the voiceover, a photo was shown of Meghan tearfully clutching a phone before the sound of glass breaking is heard as it pans to Kate, sending a “stern” look towards the camera.
The picture was taken during the Commonwealth Day service in 2019, with Prince Harry and Meghan sitting behind the Prince and Princess of Wales in the photo.
“I was horrified when I saw this trailer, honestly it’s everything we feared,” royal pundit Richard Eden told Mail+ last week.
Eden spoke to friends of the royal couple after the trailer was released and said they were “frankly disgusted” by its content.

“The use of William and Catherine and the image and the way it’s presented, my goodness,” he explained.
“You see Meghan with her head in her hands and distraught, and then it immediately pans to a stone, stern image of Catherine at Westminister Abbey at that Commonwealth Day service in 2019.”
“The timing of this trailer couldn’t be worse.”
