The radio host shared a video on Instagram with her youngest children, Evie and Adelaide, in which she reacted to her new role – calling it her “career and parenting highlight”.
Bickmore is the newest voice on the hit children’s series Bluey, voicing a guest character named “Terrier’s Mum”.
“My girls are checking out my two seconds of fame on the latest episode of Bluey!” she wrote on Instagram.
“What a real thrill to be part of such an incredible Australian show. 💙 I think ‘Terrier’s mother’ must be a normal character 😉.”
Footage showed the girls watching the episode before lighting up and turning excitedly to their mother after hearing her voice on the show.
Friends and fans have reacted to the cute video.
“Your unusual reaction to your almost deadpan ‘That’s it.'” “Perfect comic performance,” said TV host and former Bickmore colleague Rove McManus.
“I’m so jealous!!!!! 👏,” said actress Kat Stewart.
One fan wrote that they were “impatiently waiting for the credits to see who the voice was because I knew I recognized her!”
“Now we need an episode about Terrier’s mother and Winston’s father meeting.”
“Not just a normal mother. A cool mom! 😉💗,” joked another.
“Our favorite episode at the moment. Those are career goals 👏,” added one user.
Bickmore took over the Bluey cameo alongside her radio work after retiring from The Project in December 2022 after eleven years.
In January, she announced her split from longtime partner Chris Walker.
“Hi. It is with great sadness that (Carrie/Chris) and I have decided to separate,” the two wrote in a joint statement.
“While this is a difficult time, our focus is on raising, loving and supporting our three amazing children, Ollie, Evie and Addie, with everything we have.”
“They are doing great.
“We will not be making any further comments at this time.”
Hours after the statement was released, Bickmore returned to her radio show.
TV producer Walker was Bickmore’s second husband, whom she met two years after the death of her first husband, Greg Lange, from brain cancer.
