EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is a summary of crime reports from the Greeley Police Department’s daily logs. Due to space limitations, only a few of the hundreds of reports are used in this weekly column.

June 5th

1 O ‘clock: A caller on the 900 block of 52nd Avenue reported that someone threw a rock at her garage every time she left it open.

2.30: A caller at the 1200 block of A Street reported that a Greeley Police Department vehicle had been parked and driving in the same spot for over an hour, but no one was inside.

10:45 p.m.: A caller to the 1100 block of M Street reported that a customer had jumped the fence and run away.

6th of June

9 am: A caller at the 2300 block of 23rd Avenue reported that a man came out of the bathroom yelling obscenities and clutching his crotch.

10:45 am: An agitated man was reported in the 2700 block of 11th Avenue walking around with a large stick and swearing at people.

1:30 p.m.: A caller at the 2800 block of 35th Avenue reported that a man dressed all in black yelled at an employee and then began belting out his music through a speaker as he walked down the aisles.

June 7th

9:45 o clock: A caller on the 1000 block of 10th Street asked if people had any concerns about “happenings” in the area.

1:45 p.m.: An intruder broke into an apartment on the 1500 block of 10th Avenue and slept outside on a couch.

2:15 p.m.: A man in the 1400 block of 27th Avenue reported that a man kept coming into the house when his girlfriend was home alone to sell her pest products. The last time he got to the door, he helped himself in and asked if he could smoke the caller’s girlfriend’s weed.

3 pm: A caller on the 2200 block of 23rd Avenue reported that a mid-teen boy with a man bun had stolen a tennis ball from her 11-year-old son.

17:30: A woman on the 2400 block of 17th Street reported that she thought a cat was stuck in her blanket, but ended up being part of a “grooming salon prank war.”

June 9th

13 o’clock: A caller in Block 2000 of Greeley Mall had concerns about the abuse of smaller circuses.

1:30 p.m.: A very large spatter of blood appeared on a driveway at the 4400 block of 29th Street.

6:30 p.m.: A woman on the 1900 block of 1st Street reported that two young women refused to leave after they smoked a little outside their apartment and the smell lingered through their window.

10:30 p.m.: A caller at the 1100 block of 30th Street Road reported that a man addicted to drugs was in one of the trailers.
