Cade Cunningham Youngest player in Pistons history to score treble

Despite the Pistons’ 121-116 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, Cade Cunningham has shown steady progress in his first 11 games, averaging 14.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4. 6 tectonics. However, the match gave us a glimpse of how influential Cunningham was across the ring, scoring the first double of his career.
His 13 points, 12 goals and 10 dimes have cemented himself as the youngest player in the history of the Detroit Pistons to double the record three times at just 20 years and 57 days and the 8th youngest player in the history. History Federation can do that. Cunningham also joined a number of Detroit’s elite companies, becoming one of three Pistons rookies to set a triple follow-up record. With that, Cunningham is in a league of his own as he’s the only Detroit rookie to score a brace three times in the game. The first 11 games of his career, as well as the 13th player to do so in NBA history.
Cunningham had seven assists in the first half, with the Pistons scoring a season-high 68.
“I think we have made some progress. Now we know we have to close the fourth quarter. I’m glad to see I was able to finish [a triple-double]—It was a great time. But winning the game is even greater than that. I will still go home because we are bitterly lost,” Cunningham said after the game.
