Bucs Week 14 Game Injury Report

The Bucs got a 33-27 overtime victory over the Buffalo Bills in a relatively casual manner. The only injury was that of re-run veteran Giovani Bernard, who was excluded with a hip wound.
Bernard was taken to the dressing room just before halftime after being injured during a game. Bernard was a key contributor to the two-minute and third foul. His veteran understanding as a receiver in the backfield and prowess as a pass blocker helped the Bucs maintain shots and find the final zone. Bernard has had three touchdowns for Tampa this season.
Bucs head coach Bruce Arians was dubious when asked about the updates to Bernard and Jamel Dean.
Arians says: “Gio is a connoisseur. “We don’t know the dean. We just don’t know.”
When asked about Dean’s illness, Arians said, “He’s just foggy.”
Dean played the entire first half, but had to take a half-time break due to illness. This is the second week in a row the Bucs have lost a player to illness in the second half. Last week against the Falcons, Ronald Jones also left the game with an illness and did not return. It was also the second week in a row that Dean failed to complete a single match. He was excluded from the game Falcons suffered a concussion, but was able to overcome the NFL’s concussion protocol and match the Bills game.
