Bryce Mitchell is launching a hot mixtape, battling Edson Barboza

“Thug Nasty” is coming back and he is bringing some heat in the form of a mixtape.

Bryce Mitchell hasn’t been able to fight for over a year now due to a broken arm in his guts decisive win over Andre Fili in October 2020. But these drought days are coming to an end. as many sources have confirmed that Mitchell and Edson Barboza had verbally agreed to face off in a featherweight match on March 6, 2022.

Also good news for Mitchell fans: Bryce will be releasing a mixtape to begin with in December, a little something he’s been doing while recovering from his injury.

“I am dropping a tape.” he said above a recent episode of MMA Hour. “It’s just going to be some stuff Thug Nasty, brother. I am completely serious. I had a long break and I rapped on the way to the gym and back a lot. I composed these songs and I am posting them on my YouTube channel. Next Wednesday, I will release the album. That’s 7 [tracks], one for each day of the week. ”

“I’ve had a lot of dreams about different things and I just really think about it. It’s just something I want to do and I’m tired of making raps but just keeping them to myself. I want to make it public… I’m ready to release it. ”

Mitchell is undefeated 14-0 MMA, 5-0 MMA but still largely known as ‘the fighter destroyed his balls with an electric drill.’ A win over the always tough Barboza might not change that image completely, but it could put him in the 145-pound top 10. Mitchell is currently ranked 11th, while Barboza is in 10th place.

Barboza is at 22-10 in MMA with 26 of them in the UFC (16-10 record). The longtime UFC fighter moved down to featherweight in 2020 and has since drawn 2-2 with wins over Makwan Amirkhani and Shane Burgos, and lost to Dan Ige and Giga Chikadze.

Currently, the UFC’s upcoming March 6 card has no location or designation, with behind the scenes information that the UFC is trying to establish it as a UK return. That’s all a lot of questions because Europe is currently in the middle another wave of COVID-19 and Great Britain again implement travel restrictions in the hope of avoiding more lockdowns. But who knows what things will look like by the time we head into 2022? Bryce Mitchell is launching a hot mixtape, battling Edson Barboza
