Browns said to be ‘close to turning’ Baker Mayfield

The Cleveland Browns enter the 2021-22 NFL season with a lot of hype. There’s been buzz about them presenting the Baltimore Ravens with a legitimate challenge to win the AFC North and possibly advance into the playoffs.

Unfortunately, the wheel deflected very quickly. As things stand, Cleveland is leading 6-5 after 11 games and is fourth in the AFC North.

At the core of the Browns’ problems is quarterback Baker Mayfield. Not only did he struggle vigorously on the field, but he also appeared to alienate not anyone, but two of his star wide receiver.

According to Fox Sports’ Skip Bayless, the Browns’ locker room is “very close” to turning on Mayfield at this point.
