Cleveland Browns fans weren’t happy with a hit that forced linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. to be carted off the field with an injury.

On Thursday Night Football’s week three edition, the e hosted rival Pittsburgh Steelers. No love is lost between both teams and the fans are emotionally involved in the game. Unfortunately there was an injury in a questionable game.

In the third quarter, Browns linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. was shown face down on the field. In that particular play, Steeler’s offensive tackle Chukwuma Okorafor’s arm hit Walker in the helmet. Walker fell and as he lay on his stomach Okorafor jumped onto his back.

Walker’s teammates stood next to him as he was treated by training staff. He was loaded onto the wagon but with an aircast on his left leg.

Browns fans and those watching the game didn’t believe the game in which Walker was injured was a clean one.

Walker was quickly ruled out by the team with a knee injury.

Okorafor was penalized for an illegal downfield pass, resulting in no play and a five-yard loss. No penalty was awarded for the goal against Walker.

Before his exit, Walker had recorded two total tackles and four assisted tackles. In the first two weeks of the 2022 season, Walker had seven combined tackles, three tackles for losses, and two passes defended.

It remains to be seen what kind of knee injury Walker is dealing with and how much time he may be missing. The injury hurts as he is the team’s defensive player on the field.
