Broncos honor Demaryius Thomas after massive interception against Lions

Dancer broncos safe Justin Simmons delivered a massive interception in the fourth quarter of last Sunday night’s win Detroit Lion. After his header, Simmons will no doubt pay tribute to former Broncos star Demaryius Thomas, who recently passed away aged 33.

Simmons made a superb intercept from a back-to-back pass from Lions quarterback Jared Goff, and what followed was a truly inspirational moment for the Broncos (h/t Bleacher Report on Twitter):

Having just regained consciousness, Simmons rushed to the touchline to place the kick on the number 88 of the Tel Tel. The rest of his comrades also followed suit to pay tribute to his fallen brother.

Earlier in the game, the Broncos also honored Thomas’ memory with a touching performance tribute video. Four-time Pro-Bowler player passed away earlier this week after being reported to be suffering from convulsion in his own house.

The Broncos certainly came out of this game with a win for DT as they took down the Detroit Lions, 38-10. Denver is currently 7-6 and is in third place in the AFC West. They get back into action next Monday to make it happen Cincinnati Bengals.
