British tennis player Tara Moore has been provisionally suspended under the tennis anti-doping program after traces of banned substances were found in her sample

Tara Moore ended up in a huge mess after traces of a banned substance were found in their samples. She’s been on tour for a long time and the Brit is still confused about how the banned substances ended up in her rehearsals.
The 29-year-old is a Hong Kong-born British tennis player who has won nine singles titles and 17 doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. She has not performed very well at the highest levels of professional tennis but did win an ITF tournament in Australia earlier in the year.
However, in April, the Brit got into serious trouble after her Sample A showed traces of “nandrolone metabolites and boldenone and its metabolite”. The ITF temporarily suspended her because of the anti-doping program.
Moore is still awaiting the results of her Sample B but the situation is not looking good for the Brit and she could even be suspended if her Sample B also shows results similar to the first.

Tara Moore’s suspension could become permanent
Tara Moore has been provisionally suspended so far, and her suspension could become permanent if her second sample reveals similar levels of prohibited substances that were evident in her first samples. Their sample provided in Bogota in April “contained nandrolone metabolites and boldenone and its metabolites, which are banned substances.”
According to the ITF, Moore “now has the option to request that the B sample be analyzed to see if that confirms the A sample”. The Brit had to accept a walkthrough with her French Open 2nd round match on May 27th.
Moore wrote on her Twitter, “I have never knowingly taken a ban substance in my career. I am investigating how the positive result came about and look forward to proving that I am a clean athlete. I am deeply saddened by the provisional suspension and hope to be back on the pitch as soon as possible.”
