While speaking to reporters on Monday, Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst opened up about the Davante Adams commercial.
It will take a long time to get used to the fact that Green Bay Packers fans won’t see Davante Adams at Lambeau Field next season. In one of the biggest moves of the season, Adams was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders team.
On top of that, he signed a fantastic new contract with the team. The decision to trade Adams wasn’t easy for general manager Brian Gutekunst, but he said Monday it was in the team’s best interest for plans for the future.

As you can see from his quote above, Gutekunst focuses on Aaron Rodgers leading the show and helping this team potentially win another Super Bowl. Keep in mind that reports surfaced saying that Green Bay also offered Adams a huge contract extension, but he made it clear that he wanted to play elsewhere.
Apparently, it was Adams’ dream to play for the Raiders. Gutekunst granted him everything, and the Packers received plenty of good choices in return. For Rodgers, it will be strange not to have Adams play with him starting this September.
The two are arguably the best duo in the game, as they confuse opposing defenses with their play. Rodgers can throw the pig skin under pressure and Adams will find a way down to catch the ball. This season, the others will be promoted, while it is expected that Green Bay will use first-rounders extensively. It won’t be easy to replace Adams’ production, but Gutekunst believes in the team as a whole.
