Breakup from Carrie Bickmore: Chris Walker pictured with celebrity boyfriend Chris Brown Days before split as beaming Carrie photo emerges

Chris Walker was spotted out in Byron Bay looking dejected days before he and wife Carrie Bickmore went public with their split.

The TV producer walked the famous lighthouse walk alongside his close friend and TV vet Chris Brown on Saturday.

The performance was the last time Walker was seen in public before his joint statement with Bickmore was released.

“It is with great sadness that Chris and I have decided to separate,” Bickmore said on Instagram on Wednesday.

“While this is a difficult time, we are focused on raising, loving and supporting our three amazing children, Ollie, Evie and Addie, with everything we have. You are doing great.”

In the series of photos taken, Brown seemed to be doing much of the talking while Walker looked dejected next to him.

The producer kept a low profile in black shorts and a white tank top paired with a green cap.

Meanwhile, Bickmore was seen in public days earlier attending the exclusive Sam Smith concert in Adelaide.

The former TV presenter was seen snapping photos with another concert-goer, Frankie Braile, who later shared the snaps on his social media.

Bickmore looked carefree as she flashed a smile in both pictures.

TV producer Walker was Bickmore’s second husband, whom she met two years after losing her first husband, Greg Lange, to brain cancer.

Walker took on the role of stepfather to Bickmore and Lange’s son Ollie before they gave birth to two children, Evie in 2015 and Adelaide in 2018.

The TV presenter has previously shared how Walker has supported her through the loss of Lange.

“He understands loss like a lot of people and has suffered his own loss in life and I think he just has a great amount of compassion and he will always be incredibly supportive of me and our family,” she told TV Week in 2020.

Bickmore married her first husband, Lange, when she was 25.

Lange died five years later at the age of 35 after a 14-year battle with brain cancer.

Bickmore continued her late husband’s legacy by founding her charity, Carrie’s Beanies for Brain Cancer, which she announced in May 2015 during her Gold Logies speech.

The aim of the foundation is to collect funds for brain tumor research.
