Wrestling fans have watched and seen stars released by WWE compete in new promotions. One name released by the company in the past year that hasn’t resurfaced yet is Bray Wyatt.

Bray Wyatt teasing a return to the ring?

Fans will keep their eyes on the All Elite Wrestling and Impact Wrestling programs to see if Wyatt shows up.

Wyatt was one of WWE’s most popular wrestlers, in part due to his creativity with his on-screen character. Having previously spent time on the main roster as the Husky Harris, he debuted again in 2013 as the “Eater of the World.” He competed in high-profile feuds against John Cena and the Undertaker, even entering WrestleMania 33 in 2017 as the WWE Champion.

In the summer of 2019, he debuted another character in The Fiend, a masked horror-movie-style villain that was equally popular with fans. He won the Universal Championship twice during his tenure.

His last match with WWE was on Night Two of WrestleMania 37 in 2021, where he lost to Randy Orton in the opener. On July 31, he was released from WWE.

Whether Wyatt returns to the ring for another promotion remains to be seen. But he certainly caught the attention of wrestling fans if that’s what he was really teasing about.
