Braves had to leave Marcell Ozuna after domestic abuse video

Disruptive video was obtained by TMZ by Atlanta Braves pitcher Marcell Ozuna strangling his wife earlier this year.

It seems only a matter of time before more details are released about Marcell Ozuna and his arrest last May for domestic violence against his wife. While he is allowed to play at the start of the 2021 season, his status with Atlanta Braves can go on air with the latest clip being made public.

The team at TMZ posted disturbing video of the incident in late May, with Ozuna grabbing his wife’s neck with his right hand as police stormed their home. We will not post videos in this article, but you can see it through TMZ.

Video Marcell Ozuna makes the easy decision to let the Braves release him

It will only be a matter of time before the Atlanta main office sees the video, if they haven’t already. Once they do, there should be no thought other than contacting Ozuna and his agents and informing them that the slugger has been released.

How in the world can Atlanta keep him on the list now that they’ve seen video proof of what Ozuna did? Who knows what would have happened if the police hadn’t entered the house and intervened.

Although Atlanta has just started its World Series campaign – the club’s first tournament since 1995 – this latest update on Ozuna is nothing short of sad. Fans have been calling on social media for Ozuna to get a haircut as soon as possible. His behavior was nothing short of despicable. There is no room for him in the digging Atlanta path moving forward.
