Braves, Blue Jays fans show off voting

The starters for the 2022 MLB All-Star Game were announced on July 8. Toronto Blue Jays and Atlanta Braves fans came out to vote.

The 2022 MLB All-Star Game is scheduled to take place July 19 live from Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California. MLB teams urged fans to vote for their favorite players on the American League and National League All-Star teams.

Four players have already been confirmed for the game as Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. and New York Yankees star Aaron Judge received the most votes in their respective leagues. Albert Pujols and Miguel Cabrera were named Legacy Players by Commissioner Rob Manfred.

Well here’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for – who are the starters for the AL and NL teams?

American League All-Star Starter

Below are the starters for the AL All-Star Team:

The Toronto Blue Jays have two members on the starting lineup. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will occupy first base while catcher Alejandro Kirk will be behind the plate. Along with the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Angels, they have the most starters on the AL All-Star Team. For the Yankees, Judge and Giancarlo Stanton will occupy the outfield corners. The Angels have Mike Trout as their starting midfielder, while Shohei Ohtani will be the designated hitter.

Rounding out the rest of the infield are Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers, Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson, and Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve.

National League All-Star Starter

Below are the starters for the NL All-Star Team:

The infield consists of San Diego Padres third baseman Manny Machado, Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Trea Turner, Miami Marlins second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr., and St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt.

Acuna, Los Angeles Dodgers’ Mookie Betts and San Francisco Giants’ Joc Pederson will make up the outfield.
