Boy killed late at night while riding his bike at Image Flat in rural Sunshine Coast
A boy riding a bicycle late at night was hit and killed on a Sunshine Coast country road.
The 16-year-old was driving on Image Flat Road at about 11.50pm on Sunday in Image Flat.
He was hit by a hatchback being driven by a 24-year-old woman.

He suffered severe chest and head injuries.
Paramedics pronounced him dead on the way to Nambour Hospital.
The woman was not physically injured.
Police have urged potential witnesses to come forward.
The investigations are ongoing.
