Boy dies after being hit by car in Wallan’s driveway

A 13-year-old boy has died after being hit by a car in the driveway of a house north of Melbourne.

Emergency services were called to the property at Banon Street, Wallan around 4.50pm on Thursday.

The boy was treated by paramedics but died at the scene, Victoria Police said.

“The exact circumstances of the incident have yet to be determined and the investigation is ongoing.”

It is understood the vehicle was not being driven at the time of the incident.
