Body found in Brisbane Creek

A body was found in north Brisbane where a crime scene was declared with emergency services on site.

The body is believed to be that of a man, found in a stream in Chermside around 10am.

“It was called by a person,” a Queensland Police spokesman said.

The body is believed to have been in Downfall Creek along Gympie Road off Murphy Road near the Chermside Shopping Center.
