Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 Remake brings fans back to this spooky town

Konami’s Silent Hill Transmission started with a bang with the official announcement of Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 Remake. The title has been heavily rumored for years, and leaked images in early 2022 suggest the remake is real. The Transmission is the first official look at the remake and features classic scenes from the game.

Footage shown at Silent Hill Transmission features the classic opening moments of Silent Hill 2, but now in a new engine with updated graphics. We see James Sutherland in the bathroom as in the beginning of the original Silent Hill 2. We also see important landmarks of Silent Hill and we get our first good look at Pyramid Head in the remake.
