Bloober Team CEO Responds Coyly to Silent Hill 2 Remake Rumors

Silent Hill fans have been through a whirlwind of emotions over the past few days. There have been several rumors about several projects related to Silent Hill being in development, with Polish game studio Bloober Team being named as responsible for a Silent Hill 2 remake. Piotr Babieno, the CEO of Bloober Team, has since responded to the rumours, but remains very cautious about the whole thing.

Babieno spoke to IGN during the Digital Dragons games conference. IGN asked about the remake of Silent Hill 2 and Babieno with “[W]We can’t comment on our activities because we value our relationship with our partners.” However, he goes on to say that the studio plans to make announcements for future projects as soon as possible. His quote ends with “You’ll know a lot more… officially.”

The added “official” quote suggests that the recent spate of leaks and rumors could be true. Babieno didn’t have to add this “official” quote unless there’s unofficial information that we already know.
