Blizzard poll suggests Warcraft 3: Reforged reboot

Blizzard may be planning a relaunch of one of its biggest titles based on a recent poll sent out to subscribers. Warcraft 3: Reforged, a reinterpretation of the classic strategy title that has taken the franchise to unimaginable heights, will apparently be the target of this possible update.

According to a post made on Warcraft Tavern, author Mila Grish wrote about the possibility of an upcoming overhaul based on the poll questions she recently answered. Instead of the usual user experience questions, most requests focused on Warcraft 3: Reforged.
Additionally, Grish had also attached screenshots of the survey in question, showing that most of these actually contained queries dealing primarily with the revised strategy title. Most of the questions were apparently included to gather more information about the number of players who were familiar with the entry and player opinions on key game features.

The most important part of the survey, however, was a question that mentioned the words “soft relaunch,” indicating that it appears to be in the works. Grish went on to say that although Reforged had been released three years earlier, many of the elements that made it popular are still missing today. Custom maps, custom campaigns, clans, leaderboards, and automated tournaments are just a few of the missing features that fans of the franchise continue to search for.
While nothing has been confirmed at the time of writing, several questions surrounding Warcraft 3: Reforged cannot be coincidence. Hopefully when this remake is released it will fix all the issues and omissions that are currently plaguing it.
