A bizarre wedding has become the focus of debate on social media after photos emerged of their officiant wearing a giant yellow chicken suit.
In a post shared on Facebook, the strange wedding takes place in an empty field next to the sea.
“Probably the worst thing I’ve ever seen,” read the caption of the post.

“The chicken is the officiant, the groom is in casual button-up and khaki pants, the father of the bride is in a Woodstock t-shirt, shorts, tie-dye high tops and sunglasses — like it’s a casual Sunday stroll.”
In one picture, the groom is standing very close to the “chicken officer” with his body pressed almost entirely against the costume.
Another showed the couple standing wide apart allowing the chicken to be seen between them while a bridesmaid wore a matching yellow dress.
The post was inundated with comments, with some slamming the bride for the “silly” ceremony.
“I hate everything I see here. Imagine if 60 years from now your grandchildren would open the wedding album and see this,” one wrote.
“The look on the chicken’s face was pretty much my reaction when I saw these photos,” said another.
“It’s just a mockery. You couldn’t help but look at this spectacle and think their relationship is anything but a joke,” added another.
Others pointed out that they thought the bride looked “nice” but were let down by her family and her bridal shower.
“The bride looks so cute! What the hell is wrong with everyone else?!” one asked.
“She looks beautiful. I think that would have been fine and fun for the reception but the fact that she tried so hard makes me sad,” added another.
“Damn the bride looks gorgeous too, sad her partner can’t match her energy,” added a third.
Most people couldn’t get over the chicken suit and were particularly concerned about the groom’s solo photo with the officiant.
“What did he do with the chicken?” They asked.
