Bianca Belair surprisingly reveals her favorite WrestleMania match and moment of all time

In an interview with FanSided, Bianca Belair revealed her favorite WrestleMania match and moment she’s ever seen.

The 38th edition of WrestleMania will be held live at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, this weekend, April 2nd and 3rd. Given how long WrestleMania has been around, there’s always going to be an all-time favorite match for those who watch wrestling and those who are professional wrestlers.

I spoke to Bianca Belair in a FanSided interview where she revealed that her favorite WrestleMania match and moment she has ever seen was Kofi Kingston vs. Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35 in 2019. Belair also shared some other matches that she enjoyed.

“I would say my favorite WrestleMania match, it leads into my favorite WrestleMania moment, it’s definitely Kofi Mania [at WrestleMania 35]because I haven’t just seen a game, I’ve seen a moment, I’ve seen history,” Belair said.

“I remember seeing the triple threat [at WrestleMania 32] with Sasha Banks, Becky [Lynch] and Charlotte [Flair]. I really like the match with Charlotte and Asuka [WrestleMania 34].”

Bianca Belair reveals her favorite match and moment at WrestleMania

Kofi Mania in 2019 was a moment WWE fans were really invested in. Kingston replaced Mustafa Ali in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match due to injury. He was a veteran who had the fans standing behind him and cheering him on to defeat Bryan for the title. While Kingston and Bryan were the last two competitors in the Chamber Match, Kingston ended up losing to Bryan.

After that show, Kingston attempted to get a WWE Championship match one-on-one against Bryan at WrestleMania, but Vince McMahon put him through these intense, impossible challenges to earn it. Eventually, Big E and Xavier Woods helped give Kingston his shot at WrestleMania by winning a tag team gauntlet match on an episode of SmackDown.

The crowd at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford for WrestleMania 35 was electrified for Kingston vs. Bryant. It was a competitive back-and-forth and the fans in attendance were addicted to every move. Eventually, Kingston met his Trouble in Paradise finisher against Bryan to win the WWE Championship for the first time in his career and became the first African-born world champion in the company’s history. After the match, Kingston celebrated in an emotional moment with New Day and his kids in the ring.

Bianca Belair on the first WrestleMania she saw

Additionally, Belair spoke at the first WrestleMania she ever attended.

“The first WrestleMania I actually got to go to was WrestleMania [33] in Orlando,” Belair said. “And it was my very first when I first started working in WWE, because WrestleMania [32] was in Dallas, that was the year I started in WWE, but I missed it. I started right after WrestleMania.

“So it’s really cool to be back in Dallas now because that’s what I actually missed. So for me it has come full circle.”

WrestleMania 32 featured the match Belair alluded to earlier and that was Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match. But it was a match for the new WWE Women’s Championship, replacing what was then the Divas Championship. The match stole the show and Flair won the first-ever championship by tricking Lynch into stepping on the Figure 8.

As Belair says, she will now compete at WrestleMania in Dallas this year, where she will attempt to defeat Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship. Just last year at WrestleMania 37, Belair won the SmackDown Women’s Championship by defeating Banks in the main event. Belair will now attempt to win a title at The Showcase of the Immortals for the second straight year.

Nights one and two of WrestleMania 38 will be live on April 2nd and 3rd at 8:00 p.m. ET.
