The 43-20 Golden State Warriors take on the 27-35 Los Angeles Lakers at 5:30pm PST tonight.
Both teams are in a bit of a slump, with the Warriors dropping three in a row and the Lakers going on, well…yes. It’s a terrible catastrophe in Los Angeles. You are terrible.
So instead of looking at spread or total, I used three prop bets to identify today’s matchup WynnBET this present value instead:
Curry had slumped a bit in the past few months, but that just gives us added value on this line. The Lakers have been a poor defense all season, and their defensive end is a big reason for that. Russell Westbrook plays too much, Malik Monk is too short and Austin Reaves is too inexperienced.
With Klay Thompson in the lineup, Curry will have more room to maneuver and I expect him to make the Lakers shine tonight.
Wiggins is averaging 17.5 points per game and a stretch of poor play before the All-Star break brings that line down too far. He vacated that number the last time the Warriors played the Lakers, and given the current disaster in Los Angeles, I’m happy to support him doing it again.
He’s averaging 14 shot attempts per game and as long as he’s close to that number he should be scoring at least 17 goals.
The King hasn’t had a triple-double in a month, but he’s no stranger to them against the Warriors. Every game is a big game for the Lakers and that will require everything LeBron can give them.
He knows Los Angeles needs victories and I expect we’ll see the version of LeBron that takes over games completely for the rest of the season. That said, I’m thrilled that I have such a high odds that he’ll do exactly what he does: control the entire game in every way. He scores a triple-double tonight.
