New York Yankees ace Gerrit Cole failed in his marquee against a former trade target – Luis Castillo and the Mariners.

In Castillo’s Mariners debut, Seattle gave him a six-run cushion. If he can’t keep that up, then he may not be the Trade Acquisition we originally thought he was.

Cole’s fights could be over before long. After a difficult first inning, Cole needs to pull himself together or manager Aaron Boone needs to get him to save face.
