BBB opens nominations for 2023 Torch Awards – Greeley Tribune

WINDSOR – The Better Business Bureau of Northern Colorado and Wyoming has opened nominations for the 2023 BBB Torch Awards for Ethics.

The awards will be presented on April 27, 2023 at the Embassy Suites in Loveland.

Torch Awards have been in existence for 25 years and the BBB Chapter has served the region for 40 years.

According to the BBB, members of the public, community leaders, businesses and non-profit organizations can nominate ethical organizations in northern Colorado and Wyoming for the award. To be eligible, an organization must:

  • Be in business for at least three years.
  • Be in good standing with BBB.
  • Be free from government action.
  • If it’s a nonprofit organization, get accredited through BBB’s free Charity Review process.

Nominated companies and nonprofit organizations are invited to complete a short questionnaire about the nature of the company or nonprofit organization and basic questions about the organization’s ethical foundations.

Each candidate is screened first, then those who pass this step are screened by a Torch candidate selection committee. Finally, the selected nominees prepare the complete application for the 2023 Torch Awards for Ethics.

Nominations are possible until Friday, July 15, 4:30 p.m.
