Basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal stuns with a stunning body transformation

Shaquille O’Neal never ceases to amaze as he embarks on an incredible weight loss journey.

The basketball legend, who recently turned 51, just wowed her followers on Instagram with a revealing video.

O’Neal has opened up about his body transformation publicly and made a special promise ahead of his birthday last year (which was March 6th).

“I’ve lost 40 pounds (18 kg),” O’Neal told etonline.com last December.

“I have about 20 more to lose but impressive. I’m planning to dress up and do an underwear ad with my sons.

“Top off. Chiseled.”

O’Neal said he was inspired after receiving strong feedback from a friend after doing some blood tests.

“I got a few people involved. It’s all about the right food. I had a blood work done. A friend of mine called me and she said, “You’re fat,” and she gave me this guy’s name, and he did a blood test, and you know, because I was the athlete, I wasn’t a salad eater.

“I didn’t know what the difference was between a carbohydrate and a protein, at the age of 50 I never knew. So, he said you can’t do this, you can’t do that, more veggies, my iron is low. And as soon as I started changing those certain things,[the weight]went down.

“Added to the supplements I’ve been taking and the shakes I’ve been drinking, the weight has just come off. I’m not 100 percent in ninja mode yet. I’m still 75 percent.”

O’Neal once weighed in at 147 kg.

However, he recently joked that he wants to “become a sex symbol”.

In a workout video on Instagram, O’Neal reveals his new look after completing a session of pulldowns.

Looking incredibly lean and toned as he turned to the camera and flexed his new muscles.

Basketball star Michael Jordan was among many who were in shock and said, “Yessir!!!”

While others joked, “Lakers are signing you right now?”

American bodybuilder Robert Wilmote commented, “Let’s go beast.”

O’Neal had a wonderful and long career in the NBA. He played for multiple teams (including the LA Lakers from 1996 to 2004), won four NBA titles, and also won the league’s MVP award in 2000.
