Barcelona ‘starts negotiations’ with Basel leader Arthur Cabral

Barcelona is said to be considering recruiting one of the hottest young strikers in Europe.
The Blaugrana have been tipped to sign a new striker in the coming months to strengthen their forward line.
Ansu Fati being the first choice striker when everything is fine, but fitness means Memphis Depay had to play more focused.
Striker on loan Luuk de Jong substandard, and that means a new man may be required.
Whether Barcelona can make any deal remains to be seen, the club are currently unable to sign players due to their La Liga maximum salary cap.
But if they can create enough space to make a deal, then Basel striker Arthur Cabral will be the man of choice.
The 23-year-old Brazilian forward has been in brilliant form for Basel since signing a permanent deal last year, scoring 42 goals in 56 league appearances.
And under a loan deal a year earlier, he had scored 14 goals in 26 league appearances.
Cabral only has a contract until 2023, so he could be available at a manageable price for Barcelona.
And follow Sport, Barcelona has begun preliminary negotiations.
The defining issue will be their finances and whether they can actually make a move in the January window.
