Antoine Griezmann jokingly hinted in his post that he and Umtiti could be the new actors for the hit series Stranger Things. Twitter went berserk when this broke and many people said they couldn’t believe it and couldn’t stop laughing at the Bangladeshi newspaper publication’s mishap.

Antoine Griezmann’s future is in doubt as he remains goalless in 20 games for club and country

Antoine Griezmann has not scored in his last 20 games for both Atletico Madrid and France. He also missed an open goal chance against Croatia last night that could have been the win for the Blues. Antoine Griezmann returned to Atletico Madrid from Barcelona last summer but didn’t make a huge impact.

This season alone, Griezmann has only managed 3 goals and 4 assists in 26 games for Los Rojiblancos. Although Atletico manager Diego Simeone is keen to have Griezmann for another year, the front runners don’t believe the Frenchman is worth €40m.

Atletico could try to use Alvaro Morata to bring Griezmann back to Altico Madrid. However, the deal seems difficult with Barcelona eyeing Robert Lewandowski as their first-choice striker. On the other hand, Barcelona are desperate to strip Griezmann of her looks as he can weigh heavily on their payroll.
