Baltimore man, 33, hospitalized after being shot in his yard, police say – CBS Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 33-year-old Baltimore man was hospitalized Friday morning after being shot dead in his backyard, authorities said.
Patrol officers who were called to a shooting at the 4500 block of Birchwood Drive at about 7:41 a.m. found the victim shot multiple times, Baltimore police said.

The man was taken to a hospital, where he is in critical but stable condition.

Based on a preliminary investigation, investigators believe the man was in his backyard when he was shot by an unknown assailant.
